Do you have 5-10 years of experience working as a consultant in the information and communication technology industry?
Following the acquisition of a number of high-profile contracts, we are looking for an experienced ICT Consultant to join our team. For you, this is an opportunity to embed yourself in a leading Australian business, work autonomously and alongside Senior IT Consultants, and refine your understanding of ICT consultancy requirements in complex construction projects.
We are looking for an experienced candidate, capable of hitting the ground running, who can work independently as an ICT consulting professional. When you join our team, you will be taken through our methodology and receive guidance from our most Senior ICT Consultants before taking ownership of your own projects and clients.
Finally, to maintain our status as an industry leader, we invest heavily in providing our consultants with training and access to the latest technology. You will be provided with the opportunity to travel to industry conferences, meet with suppliers, and stay on top of the latest developments in technology.
As an ICT Consultant, you will receive initial mentoring in our methodology until you are capable of autonomously managing projects, clients, and stakeholders.
Your day will be spent managing projects from concept design to commissioning and handover. Throughout this process engagement with clients, architects, service engineers, builders, contractors, and other stakeholders will be a common occurrence.
Daily, you will provide professional advice to Clients, create and issue technical reports and specifications, manage contractors and suppliers, and manage projects. You will receive support in these activities from other Consultants and our team of Project and Graduate Engineers.
Over time, you will have opportunities to grow your business development skills, enabling you to influence, communicate, and drive new business with Clients.
What you need to be a successful ICT Consultant
– At least 5-10 years’ experience working as an ICT Consultant.
– Experience with ICT system design and technical oversight including acceptance testing.
– Full-time role based in our Melbourne office.
– Ability to travel to service interstate projects.
– Strong written and oral communications skills.
– While formal qualifications are preferred, technical qualifications and industry certifications will be looked at favourably.

CHW’s Head Office in Melbourne has been recently refurbished providing our team with a bright and open working environment.
Equipped with our own testing centre, our Consultants have the capability to test the latest AV technology within the office. Our building also contains showers, a kitchen, state of the art meeting rooms, and a number of breakout spaces for a more relaxed working environment.
The new spaces are right next to The Roasting Warehouse and we’re within an easy walk of great cafes and restaurants on Errol Street and the Queen Victoria Market. The location lets our team take advantage of North Melbourne while maintaining easy access to the CBD.
