CHW Consulting was appointed as the lead AV and ICT technology consultants to co-ordinate the design of the Monash University Berwick – Educational Multi-Disciplinary Space project in 2012.
When Monash University’s first students began their studies in 1961, they became the first university established in the state of Victoria in over 100 years. Since then, the university has continued to strive for excellence, requiring nothing but the best AV and ICT technology and facilities.
CHW designed the AV and ICT solution for Monash University Berwick’s new flexible multi-disciplinary teaching and learning spaces, allowing student collaboration using 4-dimensional immersive technologies alongside more traditional teaching methods.
Our design facilitated the following collaborative spaces:
- The central Tutorial Area/ Zone – Creative Cocoon;
- Since Area/ Zone;
- Creative Arts Area/ Zone;
- Performing Arts Area/ Zone;
- Special Education; and,
- The Court Yard Space
With the completion of the project in 2013, the technology designed by CHW has enhanced the user experience, allowing students to collaborate and interact with content they’re learning.
