CHW Consulting has been appointed by the Queensland Department of Health to act as their IT Consultant and quality assurance advisor for the new Sunshine Coast Public University Hospital (SCPUH). The new hospital development will drastically advance health care on the Sunshine Coast, offering new and expanded public services.
With an expected completion coast of $1.8 billion the SCUPH will be a truly world class facility providing for 450 beds at opening, with a potential capacity for 900 patients. The SCUPH will also be a tertiary teaching hospital, catering to the education of future medical practitioners. The size and scope of the project provides CHW with an opportunity to showcase our expertise in handling complex technology design & delivery in large Public Private Partnership projects.
CHW will issue provide assurance and specialist advice regarding all communications, audio visual and Information Technology systems. Acting as Queensland Health’s IT Consultant, CHW will oversee the design and development of all SCPUH IT infrastructure and communications systems to ensure compliance with State’s and user’s requirements. Our objectives for this project are to ensure all of these systems are delivered on behalf of the State to world’s best practice and support full integration with Building & Hospital services.
